About Grae J Wall
Ex Trailer Trash Orchestra front-man Grae J Wall will be entertaining us at the What Ales You? Thame Spring Beer Festival on Friday 7th March in session two. Grae records and performs solo, (as well as with the moveable musical feast dubbed Los Chicos Muertos). Expect a set of rootsy covers and well-honed original tunes! These outings mix Americana and folk-blues with a particular penchant for murder ballads, caustic skiffle and bar room melancholy – with a big dose of fun. Grae J. regularly tours on the continent as well as being a stalwart of the UK Acoustica scene. As an eternal troubadour Grae J's songs are also often inspired by his road trips, with narratives set in the motels of Bakersfield, the bar-rooms of Berlin and the backstreets of Paris. Grae and the band have performed at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bestival and many more intimate festivals and venues across Europe.
About Reverend Ferriday
Strong roots in Hillcountry Blues and Americana. His Original music has a low down dirty blues sound. Hip-shakin' acoustic and early electric guitar riffs are accompanied by sliding melodies and foot percussion.
About Thame Spring Market
Zoom's unique street market with a festival feel lands on Thame High Street for the first of two visits to Thame in 2025. Street food, artisan groceries, together with arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery and accessories in an eclectic mix, bringing colour and vibrancy and this time with the added attraction of a mini beer festival in the Town Hall.
